• If you don’t want to move away from the water, you should consider taking a whale watching tour. Dominica is known as the whale watching capital of the Caribbean due to its year round population of whales.
  • Twenty two species of whales and dolphins have been identified in the island’s waters. Sperm whales are frequent visitors but you may also get to see humpback or pilot whales.
  • Cabrits Dive Centre is also happy to provide snorkeling equipment to those visitors keen to explore the island shores.  Nearby Douglas Bay is great for snorkeling.  The more adventurous (or those with a car) can travel further a field to Toucari Bay, Capucin or Batibou Beach.
